how to order

The most important part of placing a commission is communication.  Throughout the process I will keep you updated on progress and make sure you are happy with the drawing - I need to get your loved pet 'just right'.

step by step...

Step 1

After making an initial enquiry and you have decided to go ahead, the first thing to do is to take photos for reference or look through what you have which you can email to me or send me via WhatsApp.  The better the photo the better the final result will be - photos need to be clear, bright and in focus as I need to be able to zoom in to get all the little details right.

I tend to use one main photo to work from but like to have a few to enable me to cross-reference and make sure the final result to a true likeness to your pet.

I can combine images of more than one pet, so they do not need to be in the same original photo, but it is important for the lightling conditions to match.

Step 2

Once we have decided on which photo to use, the compostion of the drawing and the time frame expected to complete it, I ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking and enable me to start work on your portrait.

Step 3

I will keep you updated on the process via email and make sure you are happy with the eay your drawing looks.  Once finished, final payment will be due and shipping or collection can be arranged.

Within the UK I use Royal Mail Special Delivery service and Express Tracked for portraits overseas.
